What is BU:NDLE?

The BU:NDLE ( University of Wuppertal: Network for the Digitalisation of Teaching) network comprises research staff with proven technical and pedagogical expertise from the individual faculties and the School of Education, who support teaching staff in the development and implementation of digital (supplementary) formats for teaching. Collaboration within the network fosters the development of broad expertise among all those involved, ensures the widespread dissemination of successful approaches and projects, and strengthens links with the technical and pedagogical expertise available at ZIM.

The aim of this initiative is to improve the quality of study and teaching within the faculty by

  • supporting lecturers in the development and evaluation of digital teaching formats
  • supporting lecturers in the delivery of digital examination formats
  • contributing to the development of the faculty’s digitalisation strategy and to applications for funding under relevant programmes
  • supporting students in using digital tools and environments, particularly in the area of e-assessment and e-exams
  • facilitating professional exchange, reflection and the development of visions through participation in internal and external continuing professional development programmes on digitalisation in higher education, in particular through networking within the BU:NDLE network
