2025 Summer School in Tokyo: Register now!

Ochanomizu University - one of the two state women's universities in Japan - has been a partner university of the University of Wuppertal since 2002. In 2025, Ochanomizu University will again be offering a summer school in Tokyo from 7 July to 5 August 2025. The event will take place in a combination of online and on-site sessions. Registration is now open.
The summer school "Ocha Summer Programme for Global Leaders 2025" is open to students of all disciplines and will be held in English. The summer school programme includes lectures and workshops as well as various cultural events.
Online dates: three Zoom dates in the period 07 - 20 July 2025.
Ocha will announce the exact dates in March 2025.
On-site dates: 21 July - 5 August 2025

International Day 2024 on 20 November 2024 in the foyer of Building K
We invite you to the International Day 2024 on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 in the foyer of Building K from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.
The event is aimed at all students and anyone interested in the topic of internationalisation and stays abroad.
Internal and external advisors and exhibitors will be presenting their offers and programmes, including GOstralia!-GOmerica! and IEC - International Education Centers GmbH.
The International Office of the school will also be represented with a booth. Our Erasmus coordinators Prof Dr Matthias Ehrhardt and Prof Dr Fabian Mohr will be on site as contact persons.

Summer Schools
Fulbright Summer Study Program 2024 in Texas, USA
Fulbright Germany is organizing a fully-funded scholarship program for Bachelor students with a migration background in summer 2024.
During the fully funded four-week program (August 22 to September 21, 2024), participants will attend courses on history, politics and society at Trinity University and gain insights into US society and culture through exchange with US students and lecturer. During the "Intercultural Competence" course, the focus will be on the discourse on diversity and multiculturalism in the US. The academic program is complemented by excursions and encounters in multicultural San Antonio.

The Erasmus+ (programme) officers are responsible for maintaining professional contacts with the European partner universities as well as the selection and allocation procedure for exchange places. The nomination at the partner university is always initiated by them. Students and lecturers who are interested in an exchange opportunity should first contact the respective Erasmus+ programme officer.
